Audi e-tron GT Concept

Audi e-tron GT Concept

The Audi e-tron GT is currently a concept EV. Audi is expected to unveil the final version before it goes into production at the end of this year and will reach showrooms sometime in early 2021.

While the final version of the Audi e-tron GT has not been released, Audi does have a page dedicated to the concept version here.

Charging & Range

According to Audi,:

The battery in the Audi e-tron GT concept can be charged by cable and contactless induction with Audi Wireless Charging. Cable charging will become even faster with an 800-volt system and speeds up to 350 kW, thanks to the expanding Electrify America network.

The e-tron GT has an estimated driving range of 248.5+ miles, but that’s based on the more optimistic European test cycle. Still, its 800-volt charging system is expected to be able to replenish 80 percent of the battery in about 20 minutes, and it also features technology for wireless charging.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

According to Audi:

Sustainable, vegan materials are used throughout the interior. Wherever possible, fabrics and materials made from recycled fibers were used, including the deep-pile floor carpet made with Econyl yarn, a recycled fiber made from used fishing nets.

Luggage can be stored in either the front trunk that boasts 4 cubic feet of volume or in the 16 cubes of space behind the rear seats, with the latter offering added practicality thanks to the vehicle’s hatchback opening.
